  • All-inclusive vacations are a dream come true for those of us who prefer to take care of practically all aspects of a planned trip at once.

Who wants to spend those extra hours trying to find the right airline flight, negotiating hotel accommodation, and calculating the cost of food and cab fares.

That is, while STILL trying to peg down exactly where it is you want to go.

With an all-inclusive vacation package, most of the leg work is done for you. All that’s left for you to do is say yes and go on vacation.

    Whoa, wait a minute!

Before you buy that “all-inclusive vacation” deal, you may want to examine it more carefully.

Overlooking seemingly minor details could eventually leave you feeling sour about what was supposed to be a dreamy vacation experience.

    The Time Of Year

Many destinations become much cheaper to visit during certain windows of time.

While this may contribute to the inexpensive nature of your all-inclusive vacation package, it’s good to examine whether or not you really WANT to visit a location during the proposed time of the year.

If you’re not a fan of extremely cold weather, an all-inclusive vacation spent at a location experiencing a harsh winter is probably not the way to go.

If you want to get the most out of any vacation deal, properly research the intended destination in advance.

It doesn’t matter if a deal is “last minute”; a brief Google search can tell you all that you need to know before making your decision.

Will You Have A Ride From The Airport?

You would think that “all-inclusive” means that details like a ride from the airport to your hotel are included.

    Not necessarily.

While many vacation packages include food and drink, some of them neglect to mention exactly HOW you’re supposed to get to your hotel upon arrival.

It could even be that a ride is arranged for you to get to the hotel, but you’re expected to find your own way to the airport when leaving.

Please make sure you clarify the nature of your “to and from” transportation details. It can save you one heck of a headache!

    Fun Activities Included?

One of the best things about a vacation is the ability to get out and directly experience a beautiful location.

A great way to make this happen is through fun activities unique to a particular destination.

You should check to see if the all-inclusive vacation package comes with special activities for you or your family.

This step will definitely help you make the most of your vacation and create lasting memories.
