Adriana Lima is one of Victoria's Secret's biggest runway stars, so it's no surprise that they chose her to wear their most coveted item during their annual fashion show this month: the $2 million, gem-encrusted bra.
Lima spoke about the sparkly lingerie recently, saying that people have a lot of misconceptions about it--starting with what it feels like underneath and just how "comfortable" it is.
"A lot of people ask if it's heavy. It's actually not very heavy, but it's cold because it's built up on this sort of gold (bust). I felt very expensive," she told People.
The bra had to be a perfect fit for the show, and because it's not made of stretchy cloth, Lima had to have a plaster cast taken of her body to ensure everything would be snug and secure on the runway.
"About four months before the fashion show I had the team coming to my house to do a plaster mold on my body to make sure it would be a perfect fit," she said.
Lima recently sat down for an interview with fellow supermodel Doutzen Kroes to talk about what it was like to hit the catwalk just weeks after giving birth and gave the lowdown on her workout routine.
"If you work out and you don't sweat, I don't call that a workout," Lima said.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show premieres tonight at 10 p.m. on CBS.
