  • AC/DC tickets will set fans back by more than $200, as the band heads out on their Rock or Bust tour across the U.S. starting in April. It will cost big bucks to score tickets to the show. A single seat on the secondary market will set one back about $250.

According to a report from Classic Rock, AC/DC will make their premiere appearance on this tour at Coachella in April. They will then kick off a run of ten shows starting at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts in August. Forbes reports that AC/DC tickets now rival top selling rock icons like Fleetwood Mac and The Who.

Rock or Bust is the celebration of a 40 year anniversary for the band, hence a good part of the reason AC/DC tickets are so costly. Will this only serve to drive the cost of popular tickets even higher for tours to come? The Who starts their 50th anniversary celebratory tour in April. How much will fans have to pay to score a ticket to their show?

The most expensive AC/DC tickets thus far (on the secondary market) are selling for an average of $573.37, and are for the September 20th show at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, N.B. The second highest price on AC/DC tickets is being paid for their Vancouver stop on September 22nd.

Are you a big fan of the ‘Highway to Hell’ band? Would you consider paying this kind of money for AC/DC tickets?
