A Magazine for Bloggers & Podcasters

It’s funny what you can find just spending hours on the Internet. I found this…Blogging & Podcaster magazine.

There was a previous attempt to create a print publication for bloggers. It went nowhere. But, that was a couple of years ago before blogging really, really gained popularity. Now, it might work and I hope it does. While I enjoy perusing the net, holding a magazine in my hand is a nice diversion, particularly when you’re sitting in an airplane headed halfway across the country.

The previous attempt at a blog print publication was met with derision from some bloggers. They just didn’t see the need and some were put off by the idea of a magazine about blogging. It seemed just to MSM for them at the time.

There are two ways you can consume the content. One is online and that’s free using a fancy reader. The other is the print edition and it’s not free. In fact, it’s not even cheap. It’s $79 per year! There will have to be a lot of Adsense ads being sold to afford that.

I don’t plan to subscribe to the print edition. If they choose to comp me a subscription I’ll gladly receive it. If you do, however, please let me know your opinion.
