The 19 Kids and Counting family has faced an abundance of turmoil in light of Josh Duggar's sexual molestation scandal, but that hasn't stopped some members of the Duggar family from enjoying some normalcy. In the case of Josiah Duggar, he has continued courting Marjorie Jackson, and the two appear to be having fun.
Members of the Duggar family 'court' rather than 'date.' That means they look toward the future when spending time with a member of the opposite sex. Would he or she be suitable as a husband or wife? They don't spend time alone, but always have at least one chaperone with them when they spend time together. They don't engage in any kind of physical contact until much later in the relationship, when some are allowed to enjoy a 'side hug.' No frontal contact is made with the opposite sex. That, along with kissing, is saved for marriage. The two must be equally yoked in their religious beliefs.
Marjorie Jackson comes from a strict Christian family like the 19 Kids and Counting family. Josiah Duggar has been courting her since back in April.
A cute photo of the couple was posted early Wednesday to the Duggar family's Facebook page. It features Josiah and Marjorie standing inside some sort of individual booths--for lack of a better word. It's uncertain if they're dressing rooms, bathroom stalls, or old fashioned phone booths. Regardless of where they are, the two look like they're happy and having fun.
"Too cute. These two are doing so well in their courtship. It is a fun and wonderful time for them. We love watching God unfold life as they seek Him during this special time. These two make us smile!" the 19 Kids and Counting family captioned the photo.
Many of the comments on the Facebook post clearly indicate that fans want TLC to bring back 19 Kids and Counting. The network hasn't announced whether that will happen or not. There's some speculation that a spinoff might be in the works. 2 Brides and Their Grooms would star Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald--and their husbands Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald. It would eliminate Josh Duggar from the picture entirely.
If TLC does bring back the 19 Kids and Counting family in some fashion, fans will no doubt want to keep abreast of the courtship of Josiah Duggar and Marjorie Jackson.
Do you foresee another Duggar wedding in the future?
