19 Kids and Counting family members Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as their son Josh Duggar, have all taken to social media to congratulate cousin Amy Duggar on her engagement to Dillon King.

Amy Duggar announced her engagement to King earlier this week. Amy is the daughter of Jim Bob Duggar’s sister. Her dad has recently made news for causing yet another scandal for the 19 Kids and Counting family. He was sued many years ago for transmitting genital herpes to a woman with whom he had unprotected sex.

While Amy Duggar shares the same strong Christian faith as the 19 Kids and Counting family, she isn’t as conservative as Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 offspring.

“I’m so happy to announce … WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he’s loyal, he’s patient, he’s my best friend! Of course I said yes!! l love you so much! @kingdillpickle #DillandDuggsforever,” Amy wrote on an Instagram post, sharing her good news.

On Tuesday, Michelle Duggar shared congratulations on behalf of the 19 Kids and Counting brood.

“We are so excited for our niece Amy Duggar and Dillion King on getting engaged. We tell every couple that as a husband and wife individually draw close to God, they will draw close to each other. We love you Amy & Dillion and pray that God will continue to bless your relationship as you put Him first in your lives!” she wrote, signing the post from “Uncle Jim Bob and Aunt Michelle.”

Josh Duggar, in the news frequently since word of his sexual molestation scandal broke, took to Instagram to share his best wishes with his cousin.

“Congrats to Dillon & Amy on your engagement…welcome to the family @kingdillpickle! @amyduggar #engaged,” he wrote.

Josh and Anna Duggar are expecting their fourth baby any time now. As of this weekend, Anna was considered overdue.
